Digital Forensics and eDiscovery Specialist
We search for electronic traces of fraud, corruption, violations of regulations. We are engaged in forensic IT research, structured and unstructured data analysis. Our work is exciting, challenging and unpredictable.
Responsibilities
Our growing Forensic Technology Solutions team specializes in developing and executing solutions that cover all forensic IT facets of fraud investigation.
The topics that are central to this are:
- Compliance & Investigative Data Analytics
- Cybercrime & Data Breach Response
- Licensing Management & Contract Compliance
- Information & Records Management
- Digital Forensics & eDiscovery
We work with state-of-the-art technology to solve complex (big) data issues in a (inter)national context. You provide support in special investigations in which you use forensic (information) technology and combine it with knowledge of financial systems. You often work in a small team on constantly changing assignments, also in an international context, and:
- In collaboration with customers, lawyers and other specialists to tackle IT problems
- Analyze IT systems and environments to identify sources of possible digital evidence
- Collect digital evidence from various sources in a forensically responsible manner
- Develop research methods for complex sets of (un) structured data
- Prepare reports to present IT findings to stakeholders
- Researches on new forensic IT techniques
In addition to carrying out assignments at home and abroad, you will also follow courses with international colleagues and attend conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree
- For a Senior Associate role; you have at least 3 years of work experience, preferably in our field
- For a role at Manager level; you have more than 5 year of work experience in our field and you have experience in managing teams
- You have excellent command of both Dutch and English
- You are a team player, but also able to work independently
- You are solution-oriented, analytical, pragmatic and have good communication skills
- You are eager to travel and are willing to work with international colleagues abroad on great assignments sometimes for a longer period of time
- You are flexible and do not have a 9-to-5 mentality
- You have affinity with IT and like to follow IT developments and make your own
- You have the insight to distinguish main issues from side issues and function well under pressure and with clear deadlines
- You have experience and / or are interest in forensic IT software to collect, process and analyze data
- You have knowledge of products such as EnCase, Nuix and Relativity or other products in this field
